Share Ideas, Share Cluj – NWM Cluj 2015

Feeling European – something you can’t learn, but experience. That’s why I applied for the Network Meeting Cluj-Napoca in Romania. The topic was about sharing ideas and experience in an international group of AEGEE members from all over Europe. We were a great group, 25 participants from Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova, Serbia, Hungary, Germany, Czech Republic, Macedonia, Spain and Italy, all eager to share our opinions, ideas and previous experience concerning the work in our local antennae.

Ander, one of the members of this year’s Comité Directeur (the European board of AEGEE), was our trainer during the sessions, just like Tekla from Hungary as the current NetCom...

Global Boomerang Project in Spain

Six AEGEE-Dresden members, together with two members of ESN TU Dresden went to a youth exchange funded by the Erasmus+ Program near Zamora in a small town called Muga de Sayago. We had lots of fun learning about Entrepreneurship and Youth Social Initiatives with the participants from five other countries: Spain, Italy, Slovakia, Lithuania and Greece. We had the opportunity to get to know other associations and also present ourselves, we enjoyed the Spanish food and the warm weather, the trip to Salamanca and the kayaking, and we finished the ten days with a short city trip to Madrid.

Follow DresDino to Wroclaw!

From 4th to 7th of June, a big group of AEGEE-Dresden members followed DresDino, our mascot, to Wrocław. Breslau – that’s the german name of the city – has 630,000 inhabitants and is located in the Lower Silesian province in south western Poland, roughly 280 km away from Dresden. What makes Wrocław special is the fact that it is one of the partner cities of Dresden.

On the first day of the exchange we were nicely welcomed with a polish Barbecue and met the great people from Wrocław and some more members from AEGEE-Berlin. All the team building and working on the programme for the subsequent event, our awesome Summer University organized together.

Local Training Course 2015, check!

Do you remember Mohorn? The awesome Erlebnishof in the beautiful middle of nowhere in Saxony? Where the RTC (Regional Training Course) in December took place? Last weekend, AEGEE-Dresden had a great LTC (Local Training Course) about project management, teambuilding and conflict management.

15 AEGEEans and students from TU Dresden took the opportunity to learn many new things and develop themselves. Trainers were well prepared to present interesting workshops about AEGEE, about the tools we use in our work for AEGEE, about teambuilding and project management. We also had a fun night walk with riddles to solve, and the other night we had a party after a really nice barbecue in the garden of the Erlebnishof...
